Dear Jeep Jamboree Participants,
With the situation regarding COVID-19 evolving at such a rapid pace, it is important for all of you to know that we are diligently monitoring the developments minute-by-minute.
In the unfortunate event that a Jeep Jamboree is postponed; you will be notified via phone, email, and through our social media platforms. Approximately 10-days after we announce a postponement, we will notify you of the new dates of the Jeep Jamboree. If for some reason you are not able to attend those new dates, our cancellation policy will be adjusted accordingly.
We understand how important it is for you to be out on the trail with your friends, families, and your Jeep. While keeping that in mind, your safety is our utmost priority. To ensure your safety, once shelter-in-place orders are lifted, we’ll be implementing some changes to the operations of our events. These will include additional handwashing stations at Jamborees as well as adapting social distancing guidelines during registration and meals. We are considering “grab-n-go” meals to minimize group gatherings. We are also reviewing the possibility of a drive-thru registration process where you won’t need to exit your vehicle, but instead complete all paperwork inside your Jeep.
For the foreseeable future we will no longer host our final dinner with award ceremony on Saturday evening. The raffle tickets will now be drawn at our corporate office and the winners announced on Facebook. Please understand these measures are temporary and are being enforced solely for your safety and the safety of our staff. Our policies will adjust back to normal once the government, CDC and local health agencies adjust their safety protocols.
We are doing everything possible to ensure our events are going to happen as scheduled, but as you know, not all of this is within our control. We appreciate your understanding during these most unusual times. We can’t wait to get back on the trails and we know you can’t either!
