Please note this trip is double occupancy and requires participants to share a Jeep Wrangler and accommodations. If you need an additional room, please inquire with our team. You also have the option to bring your own Jeep. This option is available during checkout, and will deduct $1,200 from the trip total.
Headquartered in beautiful Moab, Utah (elevation 4,085 ft.), the Moab Odyssey takes you on a journey through some of the most picturesque landscapes in America, while providing attendees the experience of world-class off-roading. The group will be guaranteed plenty of personal attention and given expert driving instruction and guidance along the way.
All of the amazing scenery in this part of the world is why Moab has such a rich history of filmmaking. However, seeing it on the big screen is one thing, experiencing it for yourself will fill you with enough memories to last a lifetime. Jeep Wrangler is provided.
Fred Williams – Your Trip Host
Fred Williams has over 20 years experience in the four-wheel drive and off-road automotive industry. As an automotive journalist, he has held the role of Feature Editor, Technical Editor, Editor in Chief, and Editor at Large for Petersen’s 4Wheel & Off-Road magazine. In those roles Fred specialized in writing and photography of new product reviews, new 4×4 vehicle testing, motorsports, project vehicle builds, and adventure drives.
Fred has been involved in all aspects of off-roading from rock crawling and trails to mud, snow, sand, and overland-type driving. Plus, he has built vehicles to enjoy all these different terrains and adventures. After a long tenure with print and digital media, Fred also expanded into video by developing, writing, and hosting the successful Motor Trend program Dirt Every Day. With a 10-year run, this show reached millions of fans as Fred and his cohost Dave built wild and exciting 4x4s each episode before heading out on a fun test drive adventure in the dirt. Some episodes include a cheap truck challenge, a 4×4 motorhome build, overlanding on mini-bikes, and driving his trusty Jeep Tube Sock 12 feet underwater.
Fred can currently be found on social media and YouTube where he continues to bring fun vehicle builds and his spirit of adventure to fans around the world with shows like Dirt Daily, the Dirt Daily News, First Drives with Fred and In the Kitchen with Fred.

Monday, October 20th – Arrival into Grand Junction Airport, CO. Make your way to Moab, Utah (estimate 90-minute drive). 6:30 PM – Group dinner & trail orientation at Josie Wyatts Grille. Overnight at Hoodoo hotel.
Tuesday, October 21st – After a hearty breakfast depart hotel and hit the trails. Today our group will conquer the Badge of Honor trail, Metal Masher. All day on the trail. Lunch will be provided. Coolers and refreshments restocked daily. Group dinner in Moab. Overnight at Hoodoo hotel.
Wednesday, October 22nd – Another day tackling the iconic trails of Moab, UT. Today another Badge of Honor trail, Steel Bender. After a long day on the trail the group will head towards the picturesque Ulum Resort. Dinner & overnight at the Ulum Resort.
Thursday, October 23rd – After an early breakfast depart the hotel and finish out the day with an iconic Moab trail ride to Top of the World. Farewell dinner in Moab. Overnight at Hoodoo Hotel.
Friday, October 24th – Breakfast at leisure. Depart hotel after breakfast for airport and flight home.
Vehicle Requirements
- If participants bring their own Jeep 4×4 – we require 35″ Tires and lockers.
- Tow points are Mandatory. GMRS radios are required.
- Participant Jeeps with tires over 40″ WILL BE TURNED AWAY AT VEHICLE EVALUATION AND WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ATTEND JAMBOREE, NO REFUND.

The driver and the first passenger added will be charged the adult rate regardless of their age.
