SAFETY FIRST

Movies are great entertainment, but most off-roading occurs at low speeds in lower gears. It’s not
uncommon to be able to walk faster than your Jeep may be going.

Every time you make the decision to leave the pavement, you are embarking on an adventure. What was
planned as a simple ride down a dirt road can turn into something far more complex. Being safe and
successful requires a broad base of knowledge, skill, and experience.

There are inherent risks to taking your vehicle off-road. The more aware you are of those risks, the
safer you’ll be. Committing to safe practices and being prepared for whatever may arise will earn the
respect and confidence of other Jeepers. No amount of fame or recognition, in-person or online is worth
dangerous and reckless behavior. Be courteous and respectful to all fellow drivers and the environment.
Following a few simple rules will go a long way toward a making each adventure safe and enjoyable.
