Jeeps in the snow at Drummond Island.

We are excited to have you with us on Drummond Island in the SNOW! If you’ve been on our summer Jamboree you can expect the same great table fare, trail guides, and organization. Oh, and trails, too, they will just look a LOT different this time of year. If this is your first time to Drummond Island, you have something to look forward to, when you’re on the trails in the middle of winter you may see deer, coyote, and bald eagles, and more – all of these critters call Drummond ‘home’. If you’ve never done any winter Jeepin’, it is definitely unlike warm weather Jeeping. We’ll run trails both days as scheduled, however, depending on trail & snow conditions (which can change literally overnight), the amount of trail covered each day will vary. Snow could be deep, so in addition to normal recovery gear (a tow strap or two, Hi-Lift jack, and winch) be sure to toss in a shovel and maybe even a ‘traction mat’. Your trail guides for the Jamboree are quite experienced with Drummond Island and its trails and with winter Jeeping. You’ll be in good hands!
